In the heart of Klamath Falls is the Veterans' Memorial with over 2000 bricks, each brick representing a unique story of valor, duty, camaraderie and sacrifice. These stories are being lost as hundreds of Oregon Veterans pass-away, daily. Many of us have had our lives touched by a Veteran and have a story to tell. The stories of our active men and women are unfolding and are being captured in letters, photos and on video.
A Legacy of Bravery will archive these stories. The Legacy Collective will travel to neighboring towns to collect and archive stories, as well.
The Legacy Memorial Tours is a guided tour of the local areas that hold historic military significance and a venue to share these stories with the public.
A Legacy of Bravery will collect letters, diary entries, documents, prose, poetry, photography, original music, in-house videos, home videos and historical footage. This comprehensive statewide catalog will compliment Veteran's memorials, exhibits and other efforts to preserve the Veteran experience.
