Legacy of Bravery Memorial Tours

The Klamath Basin’s contribution to military efforts over the years has been substantial, making it a place of deep military significance. It is time to tell the stories behind the bricks at the Veteran’s Memorial and the images at the Klamath County Museum’s veterans exhibit before the stories are lost forever. What better venue than a guided tour?

Areas of interest include the American Legion, Klamath County Museum, Marine Barracks Memorial, Kingsley Field, Veterans Memorial, Memorial Cemetery Park, Klamath County Courthouse Veterans Memorial Shaft and Mitchell Monument (where the only attack and casualties on the continental US occurred).

While being transported, tour-goers will experience the history of each destination as told through pre-recorded or guide-narrated stories from our service men and women.

Tours featuring sites of historical military significance will run from Memorial Day through Veterans Day. $15, $10 for Veterans and Students.
Registration is available online or by phone: 541-273-8880 or 541-331-0218. This project of The Creativity Collective is partially funded by the Klamath County Transient Room Tax Grant Program. Click here for press kit page.
